Rental Conditions




1. Arrivals and departures

Changeover day is generally flexible unless otherwise stated. Jacaranda Holidays aim to keep bookings as close as possible, especially in high season. Arrivals are from 14.00 on the first day of the rental period and departures are by 10.00 on the last day of the rental period. There may be some flexibility on arrival and departure times, which can be agreed accordingly in advance. Guests arriving at the property after 20.00 whom require meeting at the premises may be charged an additional 25 euro and shall be advised of this on confirmation of flight details.


2. Reservations

Booking reservations are provisionally confirmed by e-mail and on receipt of a completed booking form. Jacaranda Holidays can also take reservations by phone and a booking form will be sent by post for completing and returning. Jacaranda Holidays shall forward a payment invoice with our payment options.

The booking reservation is secure after receipt of a 30% deposit, and should be paid within five working days of making the reservation. Payment of the balance is required up to 8 weeks prior to the arrival date. Reservations made less than 8 weeks prior to the arrival date should be paid in full.

Jacaranda Holidays will acknowledge receipt of funds by e-mail or phone and advise when the balance is due to be paid.


3. Prices

Linen, towels and tea towels are included in the rental price. Beach towels are provided in most properties, which will be specified in each property facility description. The use of water, gas, firewood and electricity is included in the rental price, unless otherwise indicated in the property facility description.  Where properties use gas central heating, the first gas bottle is included in the rental price. If there are any extra charges for air conditioning it will be specified in the property description.


4. Number of persons

The allocated sleeping capacity is stated on each property page. In certain properties the prices may vary depending on the number of occupants. Normally the different rates are specified in the price list, however please enquire in case there is any doubt.


5. Payment

The deposit should be paid within five working days of receiving the booking confirmation, either to our euro account by electronic transfer or by Paypal. All transfer costs should be covered by the payer.


6. Cancellations

Cancellations must be received by e-mail or by telephone.

Cancellation refunds:

Up to 8 weeks – full refund less booking fee of 25€

4-8 weeks – 50% of paid rate refunded

Less than 4 weeks – no refund

Jacaranda Holidays recommend purchasing travel insurance.


7. Cancellation by Jacaranda Holidays

If Jacaranda Holidays are required to cancel a rental agreement for reasons out of our control, we shall endeavor to offer alternative accommodation of the same quality and price or higher. If this is not acceptable we shall make a full refund of monies paid.


8. Pets

Where it is stated that pets are permitted in properties there may be an extra charge at the owners’ discretion.


9. Cleaning

The final cleaning of the property is included in the rental charge, however, we expect that all waste will be taken away including empty bottles. The property will be inspected prior to arrival and departure and all breakages must be reported immediately and refunded in full. If extra cleaning is required we can facilitate this service and it can be paid locally by the guests.


10. Amenities

Jacaranda Holidays are not liable for any periodic cuts of water and electric supply at the rental properties.


11. Complaints

Any complaints should be registered with the representative or owner of the property. If you feel that your complaint has not been satisfactorily resolved, please submit a written account of your complaint which we shall endeavor to resolve in the fairest and quickest way possible.

Departure before the due departure date should be reported to the representative of the property as soon as possible.


12. Liability

Guests are responsible for the usage and treatment of contents and all things pertaining to the rental property during the rental period.The property will be inspected prior to arrival and departure and all breakages must be refunded in full. Some properties require a breakage waiver, paid as an extra deposit and refunded one week after the departure date, providing there are no substantial damages. Jacaranda Holidays will be in communication with the guest in the event of any breakages or damages. In the event of unforeseen prolongation of stay due to health or travel restrictions, guests are liable for all extra costs incurred.


13. Further information

Due to the unpredictability of the Covid-19 pandemic our cancellation policies will be more flexible during this time.......

Balance payment can be paid one month prior to arrival.

Refunds for cancellations made within one month of arrival date depend on Covid-19 lock down governmental policies, I.E. total lock down, total refund, personal reasons, credit vouchers issued.
