Boat Tours

During the summer we have a wide range of boat tours which we can book for you.
We can arrange for you and your family to take a lovely boat trip through the caves of the Algarve with a choice of large and small boats. You can journey out on speedboats to discover dolphins in the sea. There are also plenty of tours along the coast with catamarans or sailing boats. Also journeying up along the border between Spain and Portugal there is a lovely boat tour that explores the river and nature between these two beautiful countries. We can also arrange a nice day on a local fishermans boat for some fishing experiences.

Dolphin watching

A boat trip through the waters of the Algarve Coast in the company of a marine biologist to learn about the marine life in their natural habitat.

This is an intense experience that is worth sharing with family and friends aboard the Albacora III – a comfortable and safe RIB with the possibility of observing dolphins, seabirds and sea turtles.

Come along and discover one of the 7 Natural Wonders of Portugal. Explore the calm waters of this Natural Park while kayaking through the channels and marshes where you'll find an enormous abundance of wildlife.

Embark on an ecotourism experience in the Ria Formosa on board a “saveiro” - a traditional boat.

In the company of a nature tour guide, on this boat trip you will discover why the Ria Formosa was elected one of the 7 Natural Wonders of Portugal. And because the birds are one of the highlights of this Park they deserve a special attention.

Departing from Tavira, we will take you to the last town in the Algarve before reaching Spain, Vila Real de Santo Antonio. There you will board the cruise boat which will be waiting for you. Once embarked on the boat, a beautiful and relaxing day will begin. You will travel approximately 1.5 hours from Vila Real de Santo Antonio, north up river, passing Ayamonte till you reach a tiny, little village called Foz de Odeleite. There you will make a stop and have a half an hour to walk through the town, where you can still see life as it was one hundred years ago. The village is not used to tourism and has a very authentic atmosphere. After the little stroll through town, you will go to a restaurant in the village which specializes in grilled sardines. Sardines are a very typical Portuguese dish. Accompanying the sardines, there will be plenty of grilled chicken with piri-piri. Local wines are optional. There is a swimming pool right beside the restaurant for those who want to have a refreshing swim in the pool before heading back to the boat. The boat will return you to Vila Real de Santo Antonio from where you will be brought back to your pick up point.
